I believe there is recognition that we Montanans must act now to take control of our future. Climate change, property development, population growth, oil and gas, coal-bed methane, and coal production, pose significant challenges to our state.  I want to lend my knowledge, expertise, and willingness to work hard to provide solutions to these challenges, to make this a better to place to live for the next seven generations.  As the Preamble to our 1972 Constitution so eloquently states:

“We the people of Montana grateful to God for the quiet beauty of our state, the grandeur of our mountains, the vastness of our rolling plains, and desiring to improve the quality of life, equality of opportunity and to secure the blessings of liberty for this and future generations do ordain and establish this constitution.”
